On that front, AcquiCell was designed to help quickly and efficiently harvest fat, in any surgical setting. Its compactness and unique vibratory modality allows the the infiltration of tumescent fluid, aspiration of fat, and transferring it back into the body in a closed-loop system. The second product, Lipo-Loop, used in conjunction with AcquiCell™, is a tubing set that utilizes Cellmyxes fat transfer canisters and peristaltic pump to clean the fat and inject it into the body without exposing it externally, thereby lowering the risk of infection. On the other hand, intelliFat™ is a single-use disposable kit used for fat grafting, which allows a mini lipo-harvest to pull out 1-2 ounces or 30- 60cc’s of fat.

This grafted out smaller portions of adipose has found practical applications in cosmetic procedures performed on the face, hands, feet and scars, where these fat particles are injected subcutaneously to improve both volume and skin tone. The intellifat™ kit contains several unique features. Its SuperG™ milli and micro cannulas are specifically designed for harvesting via a syringe and collecting milli and micro fat respectably. The patented SuperG micro cannula contains an away of 300 holes with 500um aperture allows for the direct harvest of micro fat without having to go through complex and time-consuming resizing processes. Also, within the kit is the patented Diamond Cut™ resizer to break down the fat clusters further, which enables the small particles to be injected via a 25-27-gauge microfacial cannula or needle. Another unique aspect of the kit comprises of filters to clean out the unwanted waste and oils, which can lead to undesirable results when fat grafting. As a result, intelliFat has been widely accepted by plastic surgeons, facial plastic surgeons and even dermatologist as a replacement or adjunct to fillers which can be rather expensive when used in high volumes with the added benefit of it being the patient’s own tissue. Cellmyx has also put a spin on their intelliFat kit with a focus on regenerative procedures in orthopedics, wound healing and hear restoration to name a few, where microfat is the desired final product as volume is not a concern. To elaborate more on Cellmyx’s unparalleled offerings, Angeloni goes on to highlight one of their innumerable successful ventures. For several years now, the Brazilian Butt Lifts have been performed by physicians often using wrong tools and techniques to inject fat, intentionally or accidentally, into the patient’s gluteus maximus, which can potentially damage the gluteal vein. This specific type of plastic surgery has the highest mortality rate, as the larger fat chunks getting sucked by the body can cause embolism and possible death.
